Wildanet TV Advert – Freedom

The award-winning Wildanet TV advert, Freedom, was designed to elevate brand awareness across Cornwall and showcase how Wildanet’s Full Fibre Broadband keeps people connected, no matter where they are.

  • The story unfolds with a dog running freely along a Cornish beach, looking up to see the Wildanet bird soaring across the sky. The bird’s journey takes viewers over stunning Cornish landscapes, leading to a home in a rural village, where a family enjoys ‘Everyday Moments’ powered by Wildanet’s fast and reliable broadband.

The advert aired at prime time, generating a huge surge in brand recognition and customer enquiries. Within the first week, it achieved nearly 50,000 organic views on YouTube - a milestone rarely seen in the telecoms industry.

    • Concept & Scriptwriting – Developed the creative vision and storytelling framework to bring Wildanet’s brand to life.

    • Creative Direction – Worked closely with a video production agency to choose the cast of actors, and ensure the storyboard matched the vision, maintaining strong brand alignment.

    • Production Oversight – Led the two-day shoot across some of Cornwall’s most picturesque locations, collaborating with:

      • Light Colour Sound (Video Production) – Capturing breathtaking visuals and cinematography.

      • Maddie Meddings (Photography) – Producing high-quality imagery for extended social media content.

      • Bad Wolf Horizon (FPV Drone Pilot) – Delivering dynamic aerial shots to enhance the cinematic storytelling.

      • Additional video crew – Maximising content creation for digital and social campaigns.

      • Put Your Paws Up UK (Animal Trainer) – Worked with professional trainers to ensure Harper, the dog starring in the ad, delivered a natural and engaging performance.

  • The advert became one of Wildanet’s most successful brand campaigns, significantly boosting awareness, engagement, and customer enquiries.

It was recognised across the industry, setting a new benchmark for telecom advertising.

The multi-platform approach ensured longevity, with extended content used across social media, digital advertising, and brand storytelling beyond the initial TV release.
